HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER
(on Kenny Britt and the team's pace of play in practice)
The intention was to get him to work more off the card against the defense. He did fine. I think he's right on schedule. We'll continue to condition him and make sure he gets exercise through the weekend and we'll get him on the practice field next week.
**
(on Britt staying in Nashville to exercise)
We'll take him on the road with us.
(on what Coach Fisher wants to see on Britt the next few days)
Just continue on track. Right now, he's on track. We are not concerned about it anymore. Other than, if we were going to be in a different part of camp where we would be practicing right throughout the weekend, I would expect him to be able to practice Saturday or Sunday. That will give you an idea of where he's at.
(on Crumpler and Tulloch not participating in practice)
Yeah, we've got some guys down today. Just precautionary. They're a little bit sore.
(on installing a game plan for this weekend)
It's fun. This is our first session with cards so guys have never run cards before. These guys probably haven't been on the scout team for four or five years. We had to jog their memories a little bit. To be able to say, hey look. This is what we like first down, third down and these are the type of things we are going to take into the game. It allows them to focus in on the things we are going to be calling.
(Do you have scripted plays for Sunday)
We have very limited gameplans. Yes, on both sides of the ball.
