**
HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER**
(on Alvin Pearman)
Well, he has returned both punt and kickoffs. He's a good runner. We worked him out yesterday. We worked a number of players out yesterday. He was in camp and was obviously with the Jags. He can return. He's returned against us. He's got the ability to catch the ball and run with it.
(on if Alvin Pearman will return punts and kickoffs versus the Jaguars)
There's a chance. Bringing him to the 53 is one thing, but bringing him to the 45 is another. We need to protect ourselves.
(on if Alvin Pearman will get carries with Javon Ringer injured)
Ringer is going to be doubtful with a back. [Pearman] hasn't been here very long so obviously there's a learning curve involved.
(on Alvin Pearman's strengths)
He's very consistent with his hands. He fields the ball well, makes good decisions. He's got good quickness after the catch.
(on Mark Jones)
He came in and got the injuries behind him. He came in and had some more difficulty with the hamstring and reinjured it on Tuesday. He was improving each week. He was getting a better feel for what we're doing. I think we were improving as a group, but you have to deal with injuries in this league, so we did.
(on if special teams has to start from the beginning with a new return man)
**
Not necessarily. We're executing the same returns we just have a different returner.
(on if Vincent Fuller will be able to pick up where he left off)
He's been cleared to play, he'll be fine. He's been practicing with us for a number of weeks now.
(on if Vincent Fuller is an underrated player)
Well, he is. He's extremely valuable. In third down packages as the nickel back he's kind of the glue there. He does things right and does a great job communicating.
(on if the chemistry between Vince Young and the receivers is a concern)
No, he's been throwing to the receivers since early in the offseason with the exception of (Kenny) Britt. No, he's taken plenty of reps. He works with them each and every day so it's not necessarily an issue.
(on Vince Young's performance during the week)
He had a good week. He had a good day today, he's prepared. He's done a lot of extra work with the staff. He's prepared to play.
