HEAD COACH JEFF FISHER, OCT. 17, 2008**
(On various injuries)
Justin McCareins and Justin Gage did not practice. Both will be listed as questionable for the ballgame. We will not rule them out. Tony [Brown] and Kyle [Vanden Bosch] practiced on a limited basis and will also be questionable for the ballgame. Craig Stevens did not practice and will be probable for the ball game.
(On the injury to Craig Stevens)
It's his foot.
(On if he's confident that some of the younger receivers can step up)
You know, injuries are a part of the ballgame and thus far we've been fortunate to take advantage of the depth and when we've called upon players, they've responded. I have no reason to think that any of them, if Justin [Gage] and Justin [McCareins] are unable to play, some of the younger guys will be fine.
(On if the emphasis to get the younger players some work during the bye week has paid off)
Well they've been working and we've been working them in. Certainly the experience they got during the bye week was good because they got the majority of the reps.
(On if he's anticipating any roster moves at receiver)
Not at this point.
(On if playing at Arrowhead last year helps some players at least know what to expect)
Yeah, I think if you go in there for the first time it can be a little unsettling. But [it will help] based on the fact that most of us were in there last year. Now the situation was different, weather-wise you have a much nicer day and you'll expect there to be quite a few people there and expect it to be loud.
