How good was it for the defense to be able to hold down at the end in overtime to get the win in front of the home crowd?
It's great. That just shows how our defense really is. We had it. The team needed us, and we were there for the team. And I feel like that's how it's supposed to go.
Did it seem like today, New England was a game that you said to yourself, 'It's time for us to start winning these games.' It seemed like the defense wanted it more than anything.
Yeah. I mean, you know this was a game the Patriots were struggling, we were struggling. I said we had to take advantage of that and that's exactly what we did. We got three turnovers on defense, and that's what brought the energy to this game.
What was going through your mind when you saw him catch that ball to send the game in overtime? Did you care if they went for overtime or the win?
I didn't really care. I didn't see them going for the win, because of our defense. I feel like they were going to go for the extra point and try go to overtime. And I'm happy they did. And we won it, so.
With your teammates here in the locker room, it has to make you happy, knowing you've started this week, with a 'W' under your belt?
Yeah, it feels great. We finally got a win at home. We just have to go out there and just have to build up from here. Win and go on to the next win.
