Tennessee Titans Coach of the Week presented by Whataburger

The Titans High School Coach of the Week presented by Whataburger is designed to recognize high school football coaches who continuously demonstrate dedication to their football programs, by building successful football teams both on and off the field.

Each week during the season, the Titans will select a High School Coach of the Week presented by Whataburger. The award aims to recognize a Tennessee high school football coach for an outstanding performance on Friday night and exceptional program leadership throughout the year.

The Coach of the Week will receive a $1,500 grant from the Titans Foundation to benefit their school's football program and a gift bag courtesy of Whataburger. In addition, all winning coaches will be invited to Nissan Stadium during the Titans vs. Bengals game on December 15th, for an end of the year the celebration down on the field.

Titans Youth Football Camps

The Tennessee Titans are committed to the continued growth and development of the game of football.

The Titans host a series of youth football camps across Tennessee, geared towards players ages 7-14.

Titans Youth Football Camps will provide a fun and impactful learning experience through:

  • Teaching proper football fundamentals, skills and position techniques
  • Emphasizing the importance of teamwork and the value of good character
  • Providing opportunities to participate in football specific games and drills

Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards

Hosted at Nissan Stadium each November, the Tennessee Titans Mr. Football Awards are presented to the top high school players – and one kicker – in nine classifications of the Tennessee Secondary School Athletic Association (TSSAA).

More than 400 people – including the 30 finalists, their families, coaches, school administrators and members of the media from all parts of the state – attend the luncheon and awards presentation each year.

Each year, the Titans open their doors to area high school coaches eager to learn how things are done at the highest level. The clinic includes film sessions and instruction by Titans coaches and VIP viewing of a training camp practice.

More than 200 high school players and coaches turn out for this annual tournament, hosted at the team's practice facility each July. The goal is to provide a platform for student-athletes to sharpen their athletic skills and prepare for the upcoming season in a non-contact environment against non-traditional opponents.

Each year, media across the state gather at Nissan Stadium for a preview of the TSSAA State Championship game, including a breakfast honoring all 16 qualifying high schools, as well as their coaches and players.

High School Football Recruiting Fair

High School Football Recruiting Fair

Each April, the Titans partner with the Tennessee Football Coaches Association to host the Tennessee Titans High School Football Recruiting Fair at Nissan Stadium. The event brings Tennessee high school coaches and top college football programs from the southeast together. Recruiters are able to watch film, evaluate transcripts and discuss each prospective student-athlete with the people who know them best – their high school coaches.

Local media join head high school football coaches and more than 100 student-athletes for a preview of the upcoming high school football season in Tennessee.

Youth Football Jamboree

Youth Football Jamboree

Through this annual event, fifty-two youth football teams in the middle Tennessee area are able to play where the pros play – on the field at Nissan Stadium.

In partnership with USA Football, the Titans host a pair of clinics at Saint Thomas Sports Park, teaching youth football coaches the comprehensive approach to a better, safer game.

The Titans partner with area non-profits and community programs to increase participation in the NFL FLAG program throughout middle Tennessee.

NFL Foundation and USA Football Grant Program

NFL Foundation and USA Football Grant Program

The Tennessee Titans and USA Football, the sport's national governing body and a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee, recently awarded grants for the purchase of new equipment, uniforms and other resources to 33 youth and scholastic football programs in the Titans market. Grants were awarded based on merit, need and the organization's commitment to coaching education and best practices. Grants are valued up to $1,500 apiece and are funded by the NFL Foundation, the league's non-profit organization representing its 32 clubs.

11-Online provides high school football athletes with comprehensive training instruction, including team building, position-specific drills and leadership development, led by top NFL athletes and health and wellness experts in the sport. The platform was developed in partnership with the NFL and all 32 teams to create a one-of-a-kind virtual training program that emphasizes on and off the field growth.
